Description

Corridoio Vasariano

About 750 meters long, it was built by architect Giorgio Vasari in 1565: the rulers used it to reach Palazzo Vecchio from their Pitti palace undisturbed and without risking their safety.

Closed in 2016 to allow it to be upgraded to safety standards, it was fully restored (the last work was in the 1990s) and on December 21, 2024, it was again made accessible with a special ticket: enter from the Uffizi, walk over Ponte Vecchio, and exit through the Boboli Gardens.

Reservations are required for access to the Vasari Corridor.
